Throughout most of my teaching career, my students would either read on my classroom wall or would hear me say the following-

“if you can write your name, you can draw”.

That is the most positive and encouraging phrase that I could have ever established in my ART CLASSES.

My goal has and always will be to have individuals understand that they can be successful in any VISUAL ARTS capacity.

It never much mattered if my students were 6, 16, and now some over 60 years of age.

Simply open your mind and your heart and wonderful things will happen to you

just as they have to me and so many countless others that I have inspired.

So, the next time you write your name – remember that it is but a simple drawing

and know that I support your  endeavors in pencil, pen or marker autographs!
